Under the scheme the local authorities rent properties from private landlords for a guaranteed rent for a period of up to 5 years Properties in the RAS scheme are also exempt from the €200 levy.
Are there any downsides and how does the scheme operate?
Our guest speaker will be John Macevilly who is the Programme Manager for the Rental Accommodation Scheme. John will outline in detail how the scheme operates, his presentation will be followed by an opportunity to ask questions.
